Mike began his legal career in the City of London as a corporate lawyer, honing his expertise at a national law firm before joining Trethowans in 2009. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s corporate offering, leading the Corporate team for over a decade with distinction.
In April 2021, Mike was appointed Managing Partner. Since then, he has driven several significant achievements for Trethowans, including the firm’s continued recognition in The Times Best Law Firms rankings, the strategic relocation of the Poole office, and the establishment of several high-profile partnerships. His leadership has been instrumental in maintaining the firm’s strong trajectory of growth and its reputation for client excellence.
Alongside being Managing Partner, Mike continues to be ranked as an Eminent Practitioner (Corporate) in Chambers & Partners.
