Lawfront Appoints Lawrence Owen as Group Chief Marketing Officer

Lawrence Owen has joined Lawfront as CMO as the group enters the next phase of its growth strategy. Owen has worked at a diverse range of law firms and professional services businesses over the course of his career – including as a Partner at PwC and Vice President at IBM. At MinterEllison, he led the marketing, business development and client teams as the firm grew to become one of Australia’s largest law firms by revenue.

He brings a strong track record of strengthening business development capabilities, delivering growth and modernising commercial operating models across professional services.

Lawfront, which achieved group revenue growth of 73% over the course of financial year 2025-26, is on course to become a top 10 legal services group nationally. Owen’s expertise across marketing and business development will play an important role in supporting the organic growth of Lawfront’s group firms, strengthening client relationships and making the most of the opportunities created by collaboration across the group, while preserving each firm’s distinctive identity and strengths.

In his new role, Owen will be working closely with the executive across Lawfront as well as with the individual partner firms, including on alignment across the group’s central and regional marketing and BD initiatives.
